Arriving Today!

I don't know if y'all will find this as interesting and exciting as I do, but Imma tell you anyway.

I have several packages arriving today (well tracking shows that they are arriving today, it will remain to be seen, holiday shipping being what it is.) One of the packages contains some sample shirts, including infant and children's shirts for the new infant and children's spirit wear.

Side note: I have all my other ducks in a row regarding being compliant for selling infant and children's wear, I am waiting on a new logo design and I just heard from the designer, we are drafting a contract today.

The other packages include a white dress form, a roll of wide (56") white paper that is 10 yards long, a garment steamer, a bluetooth camera remote for my iphone and a tripod adapter and a professional photography lighting set up!

I am calling 2017 the year of Professional Confidence. One of the things that will aid consumer confidence in Central Texas Spirit Wear is professional quality photography. Since, I cannot afford to hire a professional photographer or have one on hand during homecoming season, when I am cranking out multitudes of mums and need pictures before they head out the door, I have to learn to do it myself.

"Do it myself" was the first sentence I ever constructed and remains the theme of my life. If I can learn it, I can do it. I taught every one of my kids to read, write and do math, I built a website and I started a reasonably successful small business all without the benefit of an official education.

That really went somewhere I did not expect, so back to photography! I am so excited and will have to apologize to my family for rearranging the entire house to enable me to use the most well-lit room as my photography studio.
